Dr. Adam V. Levy finished his undergraduate education at the University of California – Santa Cruz. After that, he went on to complete his medical training at the University of Southern California– Keck School of Medicine. Upon the completion of his medical training, he began his internship at LA County-USC Women’s Hospital while continuing his training at the University of California– San Francisco OB/GYN program in Fresno, CA. During his last two years at UCSF, he became a U.S. Air Force Captain. After completing his medical training, he embarked on his tour of duty at Nellis Air Force Base in Las Vegas, NV.
Dr. Levy was deployed to Saudi Arabia and stationed at Riyadh International Airport during Operation Desert Shield and Desert Storm. His tour earned him decoration, and he was granted an Honorable Discharge as a United States Air Force Major.
Once in private practice, he began participating in Medical Education with the OB/GYN program of the University of Nevada School of Medicine.
Clerkship Coordinator, Community Liaison OB/GYN, Lecturer, and Director: Community OB/GYN Services are a few of the roles Dr. Levy has had during his 30 years of practicing medicine in the Las Vegas valley.
Currently, he holds the title of Associate Professor of OB/GYN, Director: Ryan Program, Director: Division of Family Planning, UNLV School of Medicine.
He is also the Chief of OB/GYN at University Medical Center.
He consistently collaborates with several departments at UNLV and provides contraceptive and adolescent pediatric training for individuals completing their medical residency.
Dr. Levy has active research projects regarding pain control for outpatient surgery, pelvic rehabilitation, and family planning. Dr. Levy has extensive medical knowledge and training with a specialization in reproductive health services. He is trained in General OB/GYN, Family Planning, GYN Urology, Advanced endoscopic surgery, and Vasectomy.
Dr. Levy practices medicine and sees patients at the UNLV Medicine Women’s Center, University Medical Center, Sunrise Hospital Medical Center, and Birth Control Care Center.
